Jenny

Jenny is the new Pre-School Manager, Designated Child Protection person and SENCo with a first class BA honours BA degree in Early Childhood Applied Studies. Jenny is also a qualified Forest School leader and will be introducing this into the Pre-School sessions. She loves being outside and the variety of learning this can bring to the children.

Catherine

Catherine is our lovely level 3 qualified Pre-School Practitioner.

She has a calm and caring nature and really enjoys imaginary roleplay with the children and playing games, gently supporting the development of early social skills and friendships.   Catherine has been with us for over three years now; returning to work with early years after a career break raising her own children.

Sophie

Sophie is our Deputy and has been a practitioner for many years, holding a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. She has a wealth of experience working with young children and really enjoys sensory play with the children, believing that a messy day has been a productive learning day! She encourages children to try again if they don't quite succeed the first time, empowering them to be resilient incorporating the characteristics of effective learning.

Fiona

Fiona has been a practitioner at Elsworth Pre-School for over ten years and holds a Level 2 qualification in Early Years. She is nurturing and enjoys helping the children achieve their objectives and supporting them to problem solve and to be independent. She enjoys reading stories, encouraging an early love of literacy. She has a fun loving relationship with the children.

Bex

Bex initially joined us for work placement and has gained her Level 2 Childcare qualification and quickly becoming a staff member. She loves developing children's language and vocabulary and is always extremely enthusiastic. She is skilled at enabling children to take the lead in their own learning and provides nurturing and attentive support tailored to each child's development in the moment.

The Committee

The Pre-School is run by a committee of volunteers who act as trustees.  Without the dedicated support from parents and the community in these roles the Pre-School cannot operate.  We welcome volunteers to be on the committee or to support the Pre-School in fundraising or time. If you are able to help please contact us.

Trustees - Clair Harrison, Chaya Robertson and Karolina Sturgolewska.
