Our Staff and Committee

Our staff are fully qualified Early Years practitioners with a range of experience.  They are friendly, supportive and will give your child the best start to their education.  Working closely with parents they provide a happy, safe and secure environment for your child.  The Pre-School is operated by a volunteer committee which employs the staff.

Julie is the Pre-School Manager and Designated Child Protection person with a Level 3 Child Workforce Qualification and over ten years experience at Pre-School. She has a strong vision for the setting and is passionate about the characteristics of effective learning as she believes they are the basis for life long progression. She loves playing and listening to the children; seeing their language develop. She enjoys the variety that each child brings to every day and provides caring support during their time at Pre-School.

Jacquie is our Deputy Manager, she has a lot of personal childcare experience as a mum of 4 . She has put herself through, and self-funded her level 2 and Level 3 Childcare Qualifications, and is passionate about early years. She has a specialism in supporting special educational needs and brings lots of exciting ideas to the Pre-School, including our weekly newsletter, Facebook page and planning. She is currently self-funding herself through level 3 Forest School Leader Training.

The Committee

The Pre-School is run by a committee of parental volunteers who act as trustees.  Without support from parents in these roles the Pre-School cannot operate.  Each year we need parental volunteers to be on the committee to support the Pre-School and its staff.  If you are able to help please contact us to be put in touch with our current chair.
